Edition MIM

The Luthéal Piano library features one of the rarest piano instruments in existence - with only one instrument left. Invented at the beginning of the 20th century, the Luthéal mechanism alters grand piano sounds with a nail stop and dampers. Pieces were specially written for this instrument, for example by Maurice Ravel. The piano resides at the Musical Instrument Museum (mim) in Brussels.
