mp3 Demo

Demo track with single samples of the Classic Bass Collection.

In the history of bass guitars, there are only few basses that are instantly recognised both by musicans and fans. In terms of looks and sound, the Höfner™ bass might be the most popular bass due to the revolution in beat music in the sixties. It is a great choice today if you want a different sound than those super-low basses - the Höfner™ offers hollow punch that cuts through the mix plus lots of vibe for great melodic playing.

To give you that real vintage sound, we played it with a pick and ran it through a classic Universal Audio™ tube compressor as well.
Single notes were sampled chromatically with 32 different layers of each note for that 60's vibe! Some ghost notes are included as well. No excuses anymore - now it's time to produce some great stuff!

Recorded in 96 Khz and 24 bits resolution, the signal was downsampled finally to 44.1 Khz for normal use (16 bits in the Giga® version).

The set also includes ready-to-play presets for Steinberg™'s Halion®, Emagic™'s EXS24® and others or can be ordered in the Giga® format. Smaller versions of the presets are included, too.

No mastering process has been applied to the CD, so you don't get that over-processed sound of other sample CDs.

  • 32 multisamples of each note, chromatically sampled
  • ready-to-play presets for Halion®/Reason®/Kontakt2®/EXS24® or in the GigaStudio®-format
  • wave format (except GigaStudio®-version which comes in its own file format)
  • no final sound processing involved
  • recorded in 96 khz/24 bits and downsampled to 44.1 khz/24 bits (GigaStudio®-format: 16 bits)
  • DVD or 4 CD set
  • license-free usage within your music
